Another well-loved festival by both the locals and onlookers is the Chami Festival. Chami is a local pansit delicacy. Every year, the local government runs a contest to find the best-tasting chami in Lucena. Bilaos of chami lined up Quezon Avenue, Lucena City’s main road. After the cooking fest, the cooked chami is distributed among the festival goers for free.

How to go to Lucena City, Quezon

Lucena City is a gateway to the south characterized by the wide road networks. There are also well-paved routes in and out of the city. The central transportation hub, however, is the Lucena Grand Central Terminal located at the middle of the Bicol Region. The terminal is the usual endpoint of the buses from Manila whether the start-point is Buendia, Pasay, Cubao, or Alabang/Starmall.
